Retired Brigadier General Don Bolduc, candidate for US Senate, released the following statement on today’s consumer price index, showing inflation surging at 8.5 percent: 

“Bragging about an inflation rate of 8.5 percent when it was 1.4 percent on the day the Biden Administration took office is akin to the arsonist taking credit for bringing a water gun to a raging fire. This number is poised to spike even higher with the spending spree of Washington politicians continuing unabated. Too many people are still hurting, making tough decisions between everyday necessities. Enough is enough, time for the Biden-Hassan administration to go.”
