Manchester, NH – Today marks one year since the horrific loss of life at Kabul Airport. Thirteen servicemen made the ultimate sacrifice as a result of Joe Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan. Don Bolduc, retired Brigadier General and GOP candidate for United States Senate, released the following statement:
“Today, Americans pause to honor the memory of the 13 Service members who tragically lost their lives one year ago. While we remember their sacrifice, we must also never lose sight of the circumstances that led to their deaths: the poor decision-making and failed leadership of the Biden Administration. One year on, no one has been held accountable or accepted responsibility for their actions. As a retired brigadier general who served 33 years in the Army, including 10 tours in Afghanistan, this is deeply personal for me. I had the privilege of commanding thousands of troops, including 72 who did not make it home. Honoring their sacrifice — and their families’ — are my “why” for service.”
