Retired Brigadier General Don Bolduc, candidate for US Senate, released the following statement on today’s consumer price index, showing inflation increasing to 9.1% over the past 12 months: 

“On President Biden and Senator Hassan’s watch, inflation has soared to unimaginable highs and squeezed middle class budgets. What’s even worse is if Biden and Hassan had had their way, there would be even more government spending in the form of a wasteful $3.5 trillion dollar boondoggle that Hassan and her fellow Senate Democrats are still trying to resurrect. As I have traveled the Granite State and held 25 town hall meetings, I have heard the same thing from concerned citizens: they want their elected representatives to abide by the same fiscal restraint that families do when managing their own budgets. Enough with the career politicians, time for a new direction.”
