BOLDUC: THE HASSAN-BIDEN POWER GRAB WILL END NEW HAMPSHIRE’S FIRST IN THE NATION PRIMARY

Hassan Further Left Than Shaheen On Filibuster Debate

Manchester, NH – Ahead of President Joe Biden’s speech in Atlanta, Georgia this afternoon, General Don Bolduc, candidate for United States Senate, issued the following statement:

“When President Biden says politicians in Washington D.C. know better than New Hampshire how to run elections, remember Senator Maggie Hassan wholeheartedly agrees. Make no mistake: Biden’s filibuster ‘carve out’ will end our First In The Nation primary as we know it. There is a reason multiple Democratic senators, including Senator Jeanne Shaheen, have put the brakes on Biden’s power grab, but of course Senator Hassan is not one of them. She is enthusiastically supporting Joe Biden every step of the way, as she has done 100 percent of the time. Senator Hassan is a career politician who long ago lost touch with New Hampshire, and it’s time to replace her with an outsider who will shake up Washington, DC.”

Background: in December 2021, Senator Hassan announced her support for ending the 60-vote Senate filibuster for voting rights legislation, putting her even further to the left than Senator Shaheen, who Politico reported Monday night is, “promoting more modest changes.”

Retired Brigadier General Don Bolduc served proudly in the United States Army for 33 years, including 10 tours of Afghanistan. General Bolduc received 2 awards of valor, 5 bronze stars and 2 purple hearts fighting for our country and led the Special Operations Command-Africa (SOCAFRICA). General Bolduc is running for the Republican nomination for United States Senate.
